Casa de Venezuela Philadelphia and Gente de Venezuela invite you to the 2025 Venezuelan Flag Raising Ceremony

In challenging times, it is essential to stand up, be present, and raise our voices with hope. That’s why we invite the entire Venezuelan and Hispanic community in the Philadelphia area to come together and celebrate the pride of our roots and the strength of our unity.

📅 When: Friday, July 11, 2025
🕑 Time: 2:00 p.m.
📍 Where: Philadelphia City Hall

 Join us in raising our national tricolor flag as we commemorate the 214th anniversary of the signing of Venezuela’s Act of Independence, reaffirming our commitment to freedom, identity, and the unity of our diaspora.

This year we will pay special tribute to Venezuelans in media, who through their work have been vital allies in amplifying our community’s voice:

• Argenis Figueroa (@argenisfm_tv) – Univisión 65

🎤 The event will be hosted by José Urdaneta (@josecontigophilly) – Rumba 106.1 Philly and iHeartRadio, a Venezuelan media professional with over 20 years of experience both in Venezuela and Philadelphia.

🎻 We will also have the honor of the national anthems performed by talented Venezuelan violinist Ramón Guerra (@ramonviolin).

🗣️ The ceremony will feature special remarks by José Carbone, Vice President of Gente de Venezuela, Arianne Bracho, Vice President of Casa de Venezuela, city officials, and special guests who will join us in this meaningful commemoration of Venezuela’s independence.
